This island is famous for its crystal clear water and a wide range of waterlife, which is one of the perfect place for snorkeling.

What does Lan Pai Means?

Green Egg Island is Originally Called Lan Pai. Both Lan and Pai are Chinese Word, Lan means Broken, while Pai is Actually a Chinese Word to Describe Island with Flat Shaped and Also has a Meaning of Small.

Why Green Egg Island is Named?

Hikers in Hong Kong Opened Up an Hiking Trail from Lobster Bay Country Trail Directly to the Coast of Clear Water Bay and Found an Island which Looks Like an Green Egg from Above, thus Name it Green Egg Island.

There is nickname of this island because it looks like a green poached egg from above.
