Why Po Pin Chau is Named?
Po Pin Chau was Originally a Cape connected to the Mainland or a Mountain called Fa Shan. However, due to to years of Weathering Erosion and Wave Erosion, Po Pin Chau eventually Broke and Separated away from the mainland and formed a Sea Strait. (In Chinese：Po means Broke, Pin means Side, Chau means Island)

Po Pin Chau is an island located off the Eastern Coast of East Dam of the High Island Reservoir in Sai Kung, Hong Kong. Administratively, Po Pin Chau is in the Sai Kung District.
