The Red Sedimentary can mainly be Found in Northeast New Territories. These magnificent natural wonders is within the Northeast New Territories Sedimentary Rock Region in Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. In addition to the stunning Red Sedimentary Rock, you will also see a lot of Rock Formation with Different Shape during the Island Hopping Trip. The Most Famous One Would be The Devil's Fist near Wong Chuk Kok Tsui (Bluff Head). The Top of the Rock (Devil's Fist) have been under Weathering Erosion for million of years, which looks like the Same as Human Fingers. At the Same Time, the Bottom of the Rock have been under Wave Erosion for million of years too, which looks exactly the same as our Wrist. Other Interesting Rock Formation can Mainly be Found in Port Island Too.

The Red Sedimentary Rock Island Hopping Trip is Definitely the Best Trip for Geology Enthusiast or Nature Lovers When Travelling to Hong Kong. Geologist and Expert Suggests that the Rock in Wong Chuk Kok Tsui and Bluff Head Starting forming from layers of Sediment at Around 400 million years ago during the Devonian period, about 200 million years before the Age of the Dinosaurs. On the Otherhand, the Geology of Port Island is made mainly of Sandstones and Conglomerates of the Late Cretaceous Age, Around 100 million years ago.
